Recently, our office settled a personal injury case for $120,000.00. The client was passenger in a multi-vehicle accident. As a result of the accident the client sustained injuries to their neck and back. Initially, the client underwent a lengthy course of conservative treatment that consisted of chiropractic care and pain management. The client as per an MRI, had a cervical disc herniation from the accident. An EMG revealed cervical radiculopathy at the disc herniation level. When the conservative treatment did not alleviate their pain, the client underwent a cervical discectomy due to their injuries.
The matter was settled before trial with the drivers of all three motor vehicles contributing to the settlement. The main driver that was at fault for the accident had a limited policy.
While this is not a guarantee of settlement in any case, or a case of this type, this is reflective of the hard work we put in these cases for all of our clients.
