A construction worker died May 2012 after falling 40 feet from a building in SoHo, according to news reports.
Adrien Zamora, 28, was one of many workers employed to restore the façade of an 11-story luxury loft apartment building on Broome Street. He fell three floors from the building shortly after 5 p.m., the article stated.
According to his coworkers, Zamora was alone on the scaffolding at the time of his fall, and he was not wearing a helmet. Zamora suffered massive head trauma and went into cardiac arrest. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
