On May 2012, a worker was unloading a shipping container when three pallets suddenly slipped and pinned him against a wall.
The accident happened at Syracuse’s Carousel Center. The 20-foot container was filled with ceramic floor tiles. A forklift was being used to remove the pallets from the container.
The worker was pinned against a wall and suffered minor injuries to his face and elbow. He was treated at Upstate University Hospital.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is investigating the accident.
