For the third consecutive year, the Ginarte Law Firm family celebrated their annual BBQ. The family BBQ took place on September 7th with about 230 people in attendance. Members of the team, their families, couples and children, amassed in Surf City, New Jersey for a day of fellowship, friendship and fun, accompanied by a delicious meal.
Members of the 8 Ginarte offices located in Newark, New York, Union City, Clifton, Perth Amboy, Queens, Elizabeth and New Brunswick, met to more thoroughly know each other outside the workplace. The BBQ provides an opportunity to strengthen interpersonal ties and establish channels of communication, collaborating between all the offices of the firm. It helps to improve the attention the staff give to clients and provide a better working environment.
This event was also a recognition of the hard work of all the members of the firm. The BBQ offered fun for children, including face paints, balloon animals, and a sandpit, where they could give free will to their imagination.
The idea for the BBQ arose when the management team wanted to do something to recognize the team, and bring everyone together. When the event was held the first year, both employees and their families were delighted, so the tradition has been maintained year after year.
Now in its third edition, the BBQ was organized by Vanessa Romero. Vanessa works within the accounting department, and has been part of the Ginarte team for 4 years. Born in New Jersey, Vanessa studied political science at Rutgers University. At the end of her studies, she joined Ginarte as part of the financial team, under the guidance of the firm’s Chief Financial Officer, Analia Campbell, who has helped her develop professionally and granted her the opportunity to work on the coordination of this important event.
The BBQ is a great opportunity for Ginarte firm attorneys and support staff to meet and remember what their values are, including, mutual support, good attitude, family importance, collaboration and teamwork. These are essential elements for the existence of a positive work environment, which assists in taking care, not only of each other, but the community the firm represents.
