Raising Awareness
At the Ginarte Law Firm we pride ourselves on staying in touch with our community. We are passionate about helping the community not only from a legal standpoint, but helping on a personal level as well. July is the Juvenile Arthritis awareness month, so our firm as decided to purchase the Cure Arthritis bracelets from curearthritis.org for every attorney and staff member in our firm. A total of 150 Cure Arthritis Bracelets were purchased by our firm.
The bracelets help bring awareness to the foundation, raising money for research and care for children who have Juvenile Arthritis. Juvenile Arthritis (JA) is not a disease in itself. Also known as Pediatric Rheumatic Disease, JA is an umbrella term used to describe the many autoimmune and inflammatory conditions or pediatric rheumatic diseases that can develop in children under the age of 16. Juvenile arthritis affects nearly 300,000 children in the United States. Although the various types of juvenile arthritis share many common symptoms, like pain, joint swelling, redness and warmth, each type of JA is distinct and has its own special concerns and symptoms. Some types of Juvenile Arthritis affect the musculoskeletal system, but joint symptoms may be minor or nonexistent. Juvenile Arthritis can also involve the eyes, skin, muscles and gastrointestinal tract.
Mr. Ginarte, the attorneys and staff members of our firm all have a passion for helping the community. By purchasing these bracelets we have helped raise awareness for a cause that will assist children all across the globe. This debilitating condition has stopped children from participating in activities that they enjoyed and cherished. With our contribution we hope that the Arthritis National Research Foundation can get one step closer to finding a cure for Juvenile Arthritis.
