Welcome to our monthly edition of Meet the Attorney! This time, we are introducing attorney, Nicholas Blatti, Esq.. Mr. Blatti completed his Bachelors of Arts at the University of North Florida, and continued to study law at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law.
Mr. Blatti said from the moment he watched the movie “My Cousin Vinny” he knew he wanted to be an attorney. Joe Pesci plays the comedic role of a criminal defense attorney, who is driven by determination and succeeds in proving his clients’ innocence, despite his lack of experience. However, Mr. Blatti specializes in personal injury and claims.
At first, Mr. Blatti did not have his mindset on which area of law he wanted to specialize in. While attending law school, he wanted to experience all areas of law. After working with some commercial and entertainment law, he found personal injury to be the most exciting of them all. That’s when he decided that he wanted to practice personal injury.
Mr. Blatti says that he admires his mother most. He states, “She still works harder than ever today and there is no site of her ever slowing down. I admire her work ethic.” Much like Pesci’s character in “My Cousin Vinny”, hard work and determination are consistent influences and motivators in Mr. Blatti’s life.
Mr. Blatti enjoys meeting with the clients, and says it gives him the best opportunity and insight to understand what the client is going through and how their life has been affected. He finds that the most rewarding part of this is when he is able to help the client and their families out, and make their lives whole again after all they have gone through. He adds, “Even if I am unable to help a client out, I will still meet them and try and give them any advice possible to help them out.”
Mr. Blatti recalls a time when he was able to come to a resolution for a client’s case and the whole family hugged him. He says, “It felt like I was doing the right thing.” Mr. Blatti is an attorney dedicated to achieving the best results for his clients through hard work and dedication.
