Cannot believe it. The summer is over. We are in the middle of the fall. The Holidays are upon us. We need to be more vigilant during the Holiday Season. There are more cars on the road. The weather changes for the worse this time of year. The possibility of being involved in a motor vehicle accident rises during the Holiday Season. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, more people die in alcohol related accidents than any other time of the year. The amount is two to three times higher. The Ginarte Law Firm’s Annual Canned Food Drive
The Ginarte Law Firm is proud to announce the kick off to our annual canned food drive. Every November our personal injury attorneys and legal staff participate in collecting donations for those who are less fortunate. Our collection period last the entire month and is spread throughout our seven offices. The firm is able to provide local food pantries with a large donation amount because of effort to give back to the community whenever we can. The staff look forward to this time of year when they can give back to those who are less fortunate. Although our attorneys and staff might not see the people who directly benefit from the food donations, they know that somewhere out there a person is able to have a good hearty meal because of their actions. Soon all the ghouls and goblins will roaming the street, going to Halloween costume parties and trick or treating with their friends through neighborhoods across the country. People will be dressed up in costume of their favorite superhero or scary creatures as they walk through the town. This is also the time to be on high alert, whether you are driving or a pedestrian. Today I would like to talk to you for a moment about scaffold and ladder accidents and the rights of workers who are injured in an accident while using a ladder or a scaffold at a work site. Under New Jersey Law, a worker injured while in the course of his/her employment usually has two potential claims. The first is a Workers’ Compensation claim against your employer, and the 2nd is a third party action against someone other than your employer. The Ginarte Law Firm Participates in Breast Cancer Walk
October is breast cancer awareness month. It is the month long program to show support for the survivors and those who are fighting again breast cancer, both men and women. Every October the American Cancer Society hosts their Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk across the country in various cities to help raise awareness and donations for those in need. The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk helps raise millions of dollars that not only goes to finding a cure, but also to help educate and assist those who are fighting against this debilitating disease.
Millions of lives have been saved by this great organization. Through events such as these and gracious donations the American Cancer Society receives they are able to help to spread the information necessary in an effort to prevent more breast cancer patients. Helping a Ginarte Law Family Member
Recently one of our staff members, Vanessa Mejia was involved in a tragic event. There was a fire in her home on September 22nd, leaving her with very little to salvage except for some clothes and personal belongings. This tragic event has placed Vanessa and her two young children in need. As a member of the Ginarte family, the firm has pledged a donation of $1,500 to help purchase items that were lost in the fire. [Read more…]
